The kids in Inspector Gadget were tasked with creating a device to keep an egg from breaking even if dropped from the top of the playground. All the materials they had were Styrofoam cups, rubber bands, balloons, and Easter grass. 

In Numbers, we made cipher wheels to help decrypt the codes they had to break AND solve, they did great in these activities. 

What would you do if you were trapped on a island and only had three things? Our Lost class picked, duct tape, tarp, and a friend; they then had to made a shelter before the "hurricane" hit. Thanks to a huge fan in the gym, a few cups of water, and a flash on the camera, it actually turned out pretty realistic. However, the kids came out victorious, as shown below.
