Let's Party!

This week we took a break from our ocean theme to celebrate birthdays! Each student dressed up in a unique costume to celebrate in their own way.

We had Rapunzel and Aurora.

We had a farmer and Tinkerbell.

We had Dora the Explorer.

And we had a bright red crayon!

To properly celebrate, we played party games such as balloon hot potato,
over and under, decorated balloon animals and party
hats, and smashed a pinata!

Now that the birthday festivities are over, we will continue creating our very own classroom ocean full of fish, seaweed, jellyfish, and sandcastles.

2 Weeks In!

Enjoying our Morning Opener_Worship&Dancing!

*Bottle Top Class.
Campers started off the week by making Time Lines describing who they are and what type of activities they are involved in.
As a group project campers decided they would like to make a Castle for the end of the summer auction!!! The project turned out great and we all had such a blast brainstorming and creating together!
On the last day of this class students made personalized picture frames, which really showed off each of their personalities!!:)

*Shrinky-Dink Class.
This class provided a new experience for many campers, including me! Shrinky-Dinks are so cool because you draw and create artwork and then place in the oven and it shrinks and becomes a more detailed master piece!:)
During the week we made tons of Shrinky-Dinks(e.i, bracelets and key chains). Some for the students to take home with them and others for the group project that we made for the end of summer auction. To personalize our group projects the students took pictures, which we added to our Shrinky-Dink collage.
