KIDS CAFE
Our Pre-K students had a great time at our Kid's Cafe. Thank you to everyone who came to show their support. It was a great learning opportunity and we are so proud of all of our students' hard work!
Our greeters at the front table. They were so helpful and showed everyone where to sit.
The "cookie" helpers. These boys never stopped working. Most people got 3 or 4 cookies!
The chefs! Look at all of the plates of food.

The Easter Story according to Ms. Christy's class
Hannah: Easter is the story about Jesus when he rose.
Ms. Christy: What does rose mean? Emma: Go up to heaven. Sarah: Jesus died and then he rose back to life. I believe in Jesus. Graci: Jesus rose on the cross to save our sins.
Ms. Christy: What are sins?
Emma: Sins are Jesus helping. Sarah: Sins are when you are sad and crying and he wipes them away. Kyler: Jesus gives Easter Eggs to somebody. Jack: The Easter Bunny gives you presents for Easter but Jesus gives you all sorts of things. He takes you to Earth and then he takes you back to heaven. That's because you are really old and sick like my dog. I've got two dogs one in heaven and one here. Mia: The Easter bunny really gives you Easter Eggs. Jack: The Easter bunny doesn't bring all the eggs. You have them and then he fills them up with candy. The Easter Bunny really does have hands. Emma: Yes he does because he gives you high fives. Hannah: One time I was at the store and a man was dressed up like an Oreo. Mia: Jesus didn't want to die but these soldiers brought him to a castle and beat him and then they made him carry a cross. He had to die. Sarah: Easter is good because Jesus rose back to life.
Ms. Christy: How did Jesus raise back to life?
Sarah: Only Jesus can do that. Hannah: My Mom said that when you die you might rose just like Jesus. Rylee: The Easter bunny brings you some candy to your house. Graci: Whenever Jesus went on the cross he died for our sins. They put nails in his hands and his blood was coming out. Mia: They hammered them.
Ms. Christy: What is a cross?
Mia: It's what you die on. Emma: That was like a hundred years ago or maybe six. They put him in a tomb. Hannah: They rolled a rock in front of him so nobody could get in. It magically rolled away. The men took his body away and put him in a cloth. Then he went on a cloud and they were all trying to get up there with him but he couldn't get down so he went to heaven. Rylee: They go up to outerspace to get some underpants. Kyler: Jesus died on the cross. He comes back alive. Jesus bees nice with guys. Jack: Jesus never ever...there were some soldiers and more soldiers. He got in a rocket and went to heaven. Graci: He didn't ride a rocket. He put his arms out and flew to heaven. Emma: Jesus went to heaven and died on the cross.
Ms. Christy: What is heaven?
Hannah: The sky. Jack: A house in the sky on top of outerspace like an icecube.
